Sometimes though, the companies that rent budget cars, supply cars that are at the bottom end of the spectrum. Do not forget, the idea is to rent a car inexpensively, not one that is destined to be scrapped the minute you return it. The only problem you may find is that a rental car may not have been looked after with the same care as a more reputable company. There may some damage which you do not want to be liable for. One last tip is to try and collect your rental car as soon as the office opens as many of the cars already on rental will not have been returned and there is a good chance you will get a upgrade at no extra cost.
